SELECT and TALA Training – Health & Safety Training

SELECT has recently joined forces with Glasgow-based training provider TALA Training, to offer a range of construction-related health and safety training courses to Members at discounted rates.

Members can now access a range of courses carefully chosen by SELECT to offer training and skills development most relevant to the Electrical contracting industry.

Those looking to gain a general understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues can opt for the popular one-day CITB Health and Safety Awareness course or the IOSH Working/Managing Safely courses.

At a more advanced level, the CITB accredited five-day Site Management (SMSTS) or two-day Site Supervisors (SSSTS) qualification is ideal – and often specified by contractors – to help project managers, site managers/supervisors and business owners ensure healthy and safe working conditions for employees.

Courses in Manual Handling and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) are also available to Members to help safeguard against employee accidents and injuries at work and meet regulatory requirements.
