Increased level of Member discount for training courses

Thousands of electricians every year benefit from attending the training courses that SELECT have on offer. Our aim is to deliver high quality courses that are relevant to the industry requirements. The ongoing popularity of our courses and increasing demand for training suggests that the training we offer hits the mark within the industry. Most of our courses have been designed and delivered by SELECT’s technical team, who combine a high level of technical knowledge with lots of practical experience. Our BS 7671 courses have all been accredited by the SQA - a mark of quality that we are proud of.

Since July 1995 the EETF (Electrical Engineering Training Foundation) has provided retrospective funding to encourage and support ongoing update training within the industry. The EETF grant has typically been worth about 25% of the member course price. Between July 2015 and June 2016, this grant was set at the increased level of 40% of the member course price. This funding was a great boost for many companies and individuals who undertook upskill training.

We have been looking at ways to make support for training for Member Companies even better. Following feedback from Members, we have decided to introduce the financial support for training at the point of booking as an alternative to a retrospective grant. For all SELECT run courses, we have now introduced a new price structure that means Member Companies benefit from an even greater discount at the time of booking. This benefit is for Member companies only.
